To do a little extra for our guests, we serve buffets too. Buffets are known to be liked by customers across the country because of varied food options and unlimited delicious dishes at quite reasonable prices.

Another reason why people enjoy buffets is that it's totally up to one’s preference, taste, favourite and adequate amount of quantity. It is a concept and technique which is very suitable for large gatherings that are feeding bigger masses and providing them with their consent and liking.

Let’s look back at how the buffet style of meal came into being.

Buffet was a whole new concept that emerged in the 16th century. It became popular in the first half of the 19th century where English people preferred buffet system over dining since English gatherings were diverse, full of people from different cultures and tastes.

This variety in culture lead to the variety in food, led to buffet. The buffet meal had assorted starters, finger food, types of bread, soups, rice, curries, side dishes, main course, dessert and finally a variety of liquids to wash down the delicious food. The food was spread over and mounted on a huge, long table in big dishes and filled up to the brim with tongs and big spoons aside to pick the food.

Today, buffet works like this: customers pay a fixed amount in advance then they start serving their food on their plate or get served & then go ahead with the feasting.

So, the best time to go for a buffet is, when you are absolutely starving & want to eat whatever you wish to without worrying about expensive dishes.
